Meindl Boot Wax

Meindl Sportwax is not a water proofing or sealing agent. It is designed to replace the leathers natural lubricants whilst allowing the leather uppers to breathe.

The 100% waterproof Gore-Tex inner lining is then able to work properly, removing perspiration/moisture from inside the boots. To seal the leather uppers with waterproofing agents turns the boots into "gumboots" leaving moisture/perspiration no way to escape.

Waterproofing products can have chemicals in them that actually deteriorate the leather the stitching in the process.
